Liana is a political activist and social theorist. She has worked across the globe on a range of social and political themes, including gang reconciliation in Honduras, civil-military relations in Argentina, Peace and conflict research in South Sudan, and feminist farm cooperatives in Nicaragua. Liana has worked for local grassroots and global organisations, including MCC, Oxfam, and the United Nations and is currently focusing her attention on local and regional alternative food networks. She has published widely on a variety of topics and is co-editor of the new book ‘Political Change through Social Innovation’ (2022).
